Education Essay It seems that the recent trend toward online education has created a severe deficit among students. Part of the fundamental goal of any learning environment is the development of skills related to team-building and cooperative work. These are real-world skills that are important to have in almost any real-world situation. The studentââ¬â¢s comment about cooperative learning is a common complaint, but the troubles cited by the student are typical of real-world cooperative situations. The usual complaints by students about cooperative learning projects include logistics issues, gaps in vision and leadership, difficulties in equitable workload assignment, and other elements. All of these problems are ones that may be encountered in the modern working world. I would design the curriculum with group projects integrated. I would also include a learning objective that emphasizes the importance of the cooperative learning, given its application to the real world. If the quality of the projects suffers as a result of the learning format, the learning gap(s) that may have developed may be resolved by reinforcing exercises that are individually-based. In this manner, the subject matter will be adequately addressed, and the important group-work skill can also be practiced. I would also recommend additional courses on team-work and the cooperative dynamic be added to the curriculum. Whether for a school or a work environment, it is vital that students be taught or trained to appreciate the importance of effective teaming, as this will be a key element in any real-world work environment. This course could incorporate coping and procedural skills that address the typical difficulties involved with cooperative projects. Objectives might include how to divide labor, how to determine a vision, how to organize leadership, and how to handle logistic difficulties. The sooner students learn these skills, the more productive and successful they will be.

Differences and Similarities of Short Stories In this essay I will be comparing the differences and similarities of four short stories I have read, , 'The Signalman', The Red Room', 'The Man with the Twisted Lip' and 'The Withered Arm' also I will be looking at how the writers have created an atmosphere. The four stories are all of mystery and try to keep the reader gripped until the end, all have areas in which there is suspense. In 'The Signalman' Charles Dickens keeps the reader in suspense because when the ghost visits the signal man you don't really know who the haunting warning is for. In 'The Red Room' H.G. Wells keeps the reader in suspense because when the ghost is sighted it is never really described. In 'The Man with the Twisted Lip' Arthur Conan Doyle keeps the reader in suspense by not actually telling if it is a murder on just disappearance. Also in 'The Withered Arm' Thomas Hardy keeps the reader in suspense because you find out who Gertrude catches the rash from. Each writer had a setting and different historical background 'The Signal Man' was written in 1866 by Charles Dickens, the surroundings for his story was an old railway station with old steam trains. The Man with the Twisted Lip' written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was written in 1860. This story was one of many Sherlock Holmes tales which display aspects of life in the last decade of Victorians reign. 'The Red Room' by H.G Wells was a Gothic horror story, which had traditional scenery at a castle (Loraine castle). 'The Red Room' was written in 1894, H.G Wells makes it obvious how ancient and old fashioned everything in the castle was. 'The Withered Arm' by Thomas Hardy was written in 1865 and located in Wessex, around Dorchester which Thomas Hardy calls Caster bridge the county town of Dorset where most of his stories were set. 'The Signalman' by Charles Dickens was set at an old rail way station, with steam trains. The idea of a signal box in the countryside and being manually operated, gives a sense of historical background for today's readers. 'The Man with the Twisted Lip' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was set in the streets of East London. A few years before the story was written a famous sequential killer 'Jack the Ripper' murdered people on the very same streets where the story was based on in the story it said "An endless succession of sombre and deserted streets. Final Worldview Paper
Everyone has a different worldview whether it is his or her religion or law. However, just because we listen and read about other religions does not mean we follow and believe them. I will add that a worldview helps me to understand life and reality in different parts of the world. People need to have a worldview to understand their purpose in life. Questions and Answers from my Own Worldview Perspective Who is God and what are His Characteristics? Christians believe that God created the universe and all within. He is the almighty.We are welcomed into a relationship with Him so that we will get to now Him personally, and intimately. ââ¬Å"Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understand and knows me, that am Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight,â⬠declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 9:23,24) What is a Human Being and what Happens When One Dies? The scripture reads that God created man and woman in the image of Him.When He created us, he gave us a soul and spirit. Our body exists as a shell; our soul is our inner feelings such as our emotions. The spirit is our mind, where we hear the whisper of God leading us in the right directions of our life. Believe that when we die the body is returned to the earth and our soul continues to live on with God. Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was; and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (Ecclesiastic 12:7) What is the Nature of the Universe? Christians know that God created the universe according to His will. Now my worldview affects everything I believe about God, marriage, education and he way we raised our children. He created all that is and all that will be forever in the universe. No matter what other views exist, Christians know that God created the Heaven and the earth, which is the universe. God allows His children t o see His creations according to his Word and it is up to Christians to have a relationship with Him (Salesladies, 2013). How do You Know What You Know? How do you Know what is True? While growing up my grandparents taught me the family right from wrong.I also know what I know by attending church, listening to the pastor, and reading the Bible. This class has taught me about worldviews had never heard of before. It also taught me different ways to understand and research the Bible. I know what I know because God created me to be all I can be and to follow my dreams by practicing the power of positive direction Sakes, 2008). This is how know what I know. What is Right and Wrong or How can We Know there is a Right from Wrong? Knowing right and wrong should not be an issue for any Christian. Christians know that the Word is right and that there is no other alternative.Knowing that you have a healthy relationship with God is right enough for e. People can listen to who and whatever they want to receive the Word, but until they open the Holy Bible and receive it for themselves, they will not know the difference (Wright, 2004). Is Life Pointless or is there Purpose? I believe that God created everything and everyone for His purpose. I also believe Christians given this gift of love to serve only Him for His purposes. With this said all of Gods' children are here for a reason, some find their reason sooner than others do, but as long as I believe and trust in Him will find my way in life.I believe that all things God works for good with those who love Him, those whom he has called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) What Core Commitments are Consistent with my Worldview? Impact on My Life? The core commitments and consistencies in my life consist of my spiritual life, family, and education. These are the areas in my life try to keep consistent. Being a consistent person really helps because not only do I have to pay attention to my education I have to pay attenti on to my sons' as well. Do my best to keep Christ at the forefront or our life.Making this decision is meeting I try to day everyday (Jakes, 2008) My Worldview Compared to the Christian Worldview I try to take time from each day to read His word so that can continue my relationship with Him. Also try to help my family live by His word also, by sharing what have learned. There are times when I may find myself drifting away from the Word. That is when I have a little talk with Jesus. Because I know, He will keep me on the path to righteousness. Therefore, I really believe my worldview is one of a Christian worldview. Reflecting on My Worldview How does my Worldview Perform in the Tests of Worldviews?Any Christian, who knows God, knows that He is the measure of all things. In addition, we should be God-centered He is the reason why we are here today and the reason why we believe in His laws. Everyone seems to have his or her own worldview about the universe. A Christian worldview is al l know and am happy for that experience. As for the other worldviews, I cannot put myself in the position to judge them Sakes, 2008). How does my Worldview affect my Thoughts and Actions? During this class, found that my Christian worldview affects my thoughts and my actions.I know that I am whom I am because of Him and I do my est. to serve Him by being patient and kind to others, because I want others to be kind to me. I also do my best to listen to the whisper in my soul as I know it is Him talking and leading me in the right direction as make decisions during the day and night. He is the keeper of my heart and know this (Jakes, 2008). How has my Worldview Changed over the Course of this Class? My worldview advanced while in this class. This class was not as difficult as I thought once I got over the anxious feeling. Enjoyed connecting the scriptures together and summarizing the passages.There Was a lot Of reading, but I understood the questions better once read the information. I must say that learned more in this class about the Bible than had ever known and I am thankful for those seven weeks of reading, writing, and discussions. This class has helped me understand that I do have a worldview and that it is not just an opinion (Wright, 2004). Conclusion This essay has helped me open my eyes to my own worldview. To be true to yourself in a world that is constantly making you something else is a great achievement All of us possess qualities that differentiate us from other human beings. These distinguishing features could be more or less highlighted in appearance, mindset or capabilities, but they will always persist and determine the nature of our personality. Critical Appreciation of Robert Browning Poems Robert Browning was one of the great poets of the Victorian age. He was on born 7th May 1812 in Camberwell and he died on the 2nd December 1889. Robert Browning got secretly married to Elizabeth Barrett in 1846 and went on to live in Italy. Browning became an admirer of Elizabeths Barrettââ¬â¢s poetry in 1844. He began corresponding with her by letter. This was the start of one of the worlds most famous romances. Their courtship lasted until 1846 when they were married. The couple moved to Italy that same year. Robert Browning did not become recognized as a poet, until after Elizabeths death in 1861. This geographical diversity of Islam in many countries of the world also increases their linguistic diversity as perceived that they could only speak Arabic language. Nowadays they could speak Turkish, Urdu, Swahili, German, Danish, Spanish and English. Diversity is also seen in womens dress, educational and professionalism opportunities and participation in the society matters. However, interconnections of Islam and making them borderless in Ismaic states in Arab Countries has led to free movement of people, goods and wealth from one state to another. Since Arab States also occupy huge oil base, the Muslim communities have huge capital and wealth. This makes them to control worked economy by exporting refined and crude oil to other countries. In recent years, cases of terrorist and extremist in many parts of the world have been associated with the Muslim and Islamic communities[1]. This led to countries fighting with other countries in form of revenge and maintaining peace and security. This leads to the divisions of religion cultures as the one country uses the opportunity to defend its borders in the process many innocent lices are killed and the extremists revenge. Hence, the world of weapons exists. This has led to the formation of small Ismaic States like Islamic State in Iraq, led by the late Abu Bakr al Baghaidi Origin of Islamic State The Islamic State was first started by Muhammed in Medina ibb 622 CE, under the Constitution of Medina. It represented the political unity of the Muslims Ummah (nation). It subsequently transformed into caliphate by Muhammeds disciples, who were known as the Rightly Guided (Rashidun), Celphs 632-661 CE)[2]. Then it was expanded. The main aim of this movement were: consultation meting for Ismaic teachings (jihadist), consultations for the guidelines of the Quean and Sunna, discussions of the public interests by allowing everyones voice to be heard. However, in the 21st, the movement was changed and it turned against each and other innocent lives in form of protecting the religion. The Islamic State therefore, have been incorporated into the law and it has included elections, parliamentary rule, judicial review and popular sovereignty. Strong Perception of Islamic Religion as Source of Wealth as the Ottoman Empires are endorsed with huge oilfields and oil deports. Since the world economic systems evolve around oil and oil products, the countries sell crude and refined oil and oil products to other countries including USA, Germany, France and Russia. The massive wealth and capital base from oil makes them richer through direct investments in oil and other bigger financial industries. With 1.6 of the worlds 7 billion inhabitants, some projects that Muslims hold will make a quarter of the worlds population of an estimated value of 8.3 billion in the year high technological advancement in Isalmic States[4]. The Ottoman Empire government and residents have invested huge in oil execration deep underground. This requires huge technological knowhow to reach deep oil deports. Therefore, the massive wealth acculation in their Empire and investments have recie ed many v=backups from other religious communities and join them t o gain wealth and economic powers. The high disagreements of the two groups with different interpretations are causing many to use their status to gain power and social status of the Ottoman Empire Community. Embracement of brotherhood and support for each other within the Islamic States. The Islamic religion and culture is widely spread and they embrace other cultures without fear and contradictions. They treat each every member of the Islamic Religion with love, sympathy, care and compassions. In the Ottoman Empire, there is no restrictions of borders or boundary with other neighboring states. Hence there is free movement of people, goods and services. For instance, during the time of disagreements between the groups of scholars of the Islamic Laws, some neighboring countries could freely come in and support the willing team. This happens due to brotherhood... Strong belief in Islamic Rules as True Religion of all other Religions created by many Muslim scholars and they argue that the main reason of high rising Islamic Staes is to spread the religion and control the world. The Islamic communities are well spread in all parts of the world with different religions like Christianity, Hindus and Hebrews. In Ottoman Empire, the society is pure Muslims and anybody coming with a new religion to the community is being regarded an enemy and impure to live with other community members[5]. The scholars and other Islamic Rulers in the country pass laws which gives priority to Islamic teachings only as the true religion left by the prophet Muhammed. High use of internet and Social media and technological advancements to reach many new souls and sympathizers within and outside the Empire region. The Islamists create social networks which they use to reach huge audience and circulate its messages worldwide and provide the message in more appealing and understandable way to all races, age, languages and social class. They use media to share operational and tactical information such as bomb recipes, AK-47 maintenance and use, tactical shootings. The media is also a recruitment agent to extremist, to outline terrorist propping and ideological messaging, as well as wealth information of the new target sits. They use audio and video clips which are shared online and to show their actual milestone in religion and and where they tend to reach as their new level of new souls to Ismism[6]. However, the biggest concern is the increasing rates of youths from other religious like Christianity and Hinduism joining the Islamic religion.
